Here’s how to prep your scalp:

1. Clean Thoroughly – Remove any leftover adhesive from your scalp and hair system base using cotton pads or kitchen roll (avoid tissue paper).

2. Shave Closely – Trim any hair where the system will sit for a smooth base.

3. Use a Gentle Cleanser – Apply a skin-friendly face mask and wash with an SLS-free shampoo.

4. Dry Completely – A dry scalp ensures the adhesive works effectively.

5. Protect and Sanitize- Apply scalp protector to protect your scalp.

Step 2: Choose Your Bonding Method

Depending on your lifestyle, skin sensitivity, and how often you remove the system, choose between tape or liquid adhesive.

Option A: Bonding with Tape

How to Apply:

1. Stick tape around the perimeter of the hair system.

2. Remove the outer layer of tape.

3. Position and press the hair system starting from the front.

Option B: Bonding with Liquid Adhesive

Steps:

1. Apply a thin layer of adhesive to both scalp and hair system (avoid lace directly).

2. Wait 5 minutes until both sides are dry.

3. Press system onto scalp starting from the front.

Special Tip for Lace Fronts:

• Use an eyebrow pencil to outline.

• Apply adhesive just up to the outline.

• After drying, gently press the lace into place.

Step 3: Removing the Hair System

Whether you have a poly base or lace front system, removal is safe and easy.

For Poly/PU Base:

• Spray Action citrus adhesive remover.

• Wait 1–3 minutes.

• Gently lift off

For Lace Base:

• Spray Action citrus adhesive remover.

• Let it soak and lift off carefully.

 Step 4: Cleaning Your Scalp & Hair System

Clean both your scalp and the hair system thoroughly after removal.

Scalp Cleaning:

• Use citrus adhesive remover or baby oil.

• Wipe with kitchen roll or use a fine-tooth comb.

• Wash with SLS-free shampoo and rinse well.

Hair System Cleaning:

• Spray adhesive remover on the base.

• Clean residue with kitchen roll.

• Rinse and wipe with alcohol.

• Use the “Mirror Slide” method to clean lace fronts.

1. Wash 2x a week with paraben-free shampoo.
